My week was on the brutal side! In theory, I had a work holiday last Monday - but in reality, because we had tons of wet heavy snow and then brutal cold immediately afterward, I worked all last week, all through the weekend (10-hour days Saturday and Sunday and a 12-hour day Monday), 12 hours on Tuesday, flattened by exhaustion on Wednesday (took a sick day - it was that level of not being able to cope), 12 hours yesterday. I'm burnt to a crisp. Crispy, crispy Phoole.
I hope your week wasn't awful. I'm afraid it was. I'm sorry if it was a rough week. Escape it for a little while, with music friends, in our dining room, as I continue to "tour" the house, fleeing the frigid temperatures in the frozen PhooleOut Shelter. Maybe cats! Maybe Tiffany! Probably Uncle Fweddy!
The Tour Trolley has been upgraded slightly since last week - a cantilevered, shallower top shelf got added this morning to allow easier controller and mixer access. I spent my morning loading my rig out of the trolley, rebuilding it, then loading back into it. And I aimed a hair dryer at the plastic shelf liner on the controller/mixer level to get it to flatten out and stop curling up at the edges. It's the little things!
