Tonight's episode of Phoole & the Gang is Show #440, but I will not have any time to play any Apollo 440, because I have so much Ashley Slater and Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer and Harry Belafonte to play.
The Ashley Slater I will play will also be Fatboy Slim (because Ashley co-wrote 'Weapon of Choice'), and the INSANE maximally-multicultural KinChiCat, and Glenn Gatsby, and Wolfgang Lohr, and Iain Ballamy (because Ashley produced the soundtrack to MIRRORMASK), and Bart&Baker, and Freak Power, and Betty Booom, because Ash has played with everybody. He has probably even collaborated with you. Search your feelings. You know it to be likely.
I will have some Mr.B bits on the show that I've never had on the show before, and some that I've had on the show a lot, because I love all of his work. I'm playing both of these chaps heavily because I missed both their birthdays last week, and also just because I want to.
And you have to have some Harry Belafonte, because he is so important, and he died this week, 96 years old, and I will forever remember when he was on that program that formed my concept of living as an artist, THE MUPPET SHOW.
